Grant. October 2017

Beautiful house, fantastic big garden. Peace and quiet in spades. A perfect 'bolt hole' to get away to and relax in.

Gwen. October 2017

Beautiful house with everything you could need in lovely quiet location -100 meters from a nice friendly hotel. 5 star accomodation. Lots of walks and paths from the front door. We really appreciated the welcome pack.

Monika. September 2017

The cottage is fantastic. The house has everything you need and more incl walking distance to a great pub and best coffee we found at the Coach House Cafe. Our kids loved the garden. The area has lots to offer and discover. Julia was very easy to communicate with and we enjoyed our welcoming basket.

John. September 2017

This is a fabulous cottage. Everything is done to the highest standard from the decor to the comfort of the bed! A gem in the heart of Glen Affric. If there is any reservation it is only in the relatively poor standard of the food at the neighbouring Tomich hotel; but it hardly mattered given the quality of the overall experience. Marvellous.

Phil. August 2017

Thanks so much for a lovely cottage and gorgeous location. The cottage was perfect, extremely comfortable and very cosy. Would love to return to tomich one day, there is so much to see. Oh and Plodda Falls was breathtaking.

Sylve. August 2017

The perfect place to relax and enjoy the countryside.

Jose. July 2017

Une maison charmante, confortable, propre dans un hameau plus que charmant, lui méme dans un environnement féérique.....que dire de plus...ah si nos hôtes discrets et prévenants...bref un séjour inoubliable !

Michael. July 2017

The cottage is perfectly Scottish. Clean and new inside and we were provided us with everything we needed and more. The town is out of the way so it was perfect for our getaway. The land around the house is beautiful.

Michele. June 2017

A perfect get-away. Very quiet, well equipped and well located for exploring. We are a family of three and stayed for six nights. The house was perfect. We enjoyed walking to the cafe and post office which are very close. We spent several days at Loch Affric which is very close and absolutely gorgeous. We highly recommend it and hope to return.

Kim. May 2017

We absolutely loved everything about Tomich and the house. The bed was so comfortable and everything we needed was provided. Julia was easy to communicate with and provided some excellent recommendations. A great place to start our holiday in Scotland.

Sophie. May 2017

We stayed 5 nights in this lovely cottage and had a great time. The location is perfect for longs walks in beautiful Glen Affric and as a base for exploring the Highlands (we did day trips around Loch Ness, Skye and the Cairngorms from here). It is in a lovely quiet village and there is a nice hotel/pub where you can get a drink/dinner. The cottage was really cosy and well equipped with everything we needed and there was even a fire ready to light in the wood burner and welcome basket for milk and bread etc for us when we arrived. Everything was really easy to organise with Julia and Louise - they answered all our questions and check in was a breeze. Would definitely recommend staying here !

Elisabeth April 2017

We loved staying in Tomich. The house was well-appointed and the kitchen and bathroom were pristine and modern; each of the bedrooms are of a good size with comfortable beds. Julia was very responsive before and during our stay and she had left a welcome basket for us on arrival. Tomich was the peaceful retreat we were looking for; it’s well located for walks nearby or trips further afield in the Highlands. After a long day of hiking, we looked forward to returning to the cosy house. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend to anyone!

Siobhan April 2017

The place is amazing. The owner was very responsive to our questions re a few practical things (cash machine etc). The rooms are big, the house is warm, the kitchen is small but has everything you need. We got some great recommendations in particular the pony trekking - where we saw a golden eagle! Highly recommended.

Fraser April 2017

Beautiful cottage, beautiful surroundings and great information from Julia and Louise on how to make the most of it all. Loved it!

Craig February 2017

If your looking for a relaxing break in the country then this is the place. The house and location really are beautiful. Julia was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed and had arrived safely. Highly recommended

Sara from Australia. Christmas 2016

Julia's cottage is all you would hope it would be. Located in a beautiful part of the highlands the cottage is beautifully decorated and well equipped. We had Christmas here and cooked our Christmas dinner (turkey and all) in the kitchen, read books by the fire and slept wonderfully in the cosy beds. We couldn't have asked for better. Great walks nearby and pony trekking. Check in and out was super easy and communication was great.

Gwilym. November 2016

Julia and Louise went out of their way to make us feel really welcome. The house was lovely, very clean and attractively furnished, well equipped, very comfortable and the perfect size for four people with a nice sized living area and a wood burning stove. The location surrounded by Glen Affric is ideal for an idyllic getaway. There are great trails for country walks with serene scenery. We went in the winter time and had crisp blue sunny days all week - really beautiful. House highlights included very comfy down duvets and the convenience of having the use of a washing machine and dryer. I would definitely recommend it and would stay there again when I'm next in the area.

Georges. October 2016

We had a lovely time at the cottage in Tomich. The place is very cosy and decorated with taste. The welcome hamper that was greatly appreciated. The bedrooms are very comfortable and so is the bathroom (very nice tub by the way). The room we enjoyed the most after our long day hikes in the chilly Scottish weather was the living room - the comfy sofas and the stove came as a blessing. The village itself is very quaint and congenial and the pub is a godsend! As for the surroundings.... wowowow! Glen Affric and Loch Beinn a' Mheadhoin will lavish their beauties on nature lovers. Stunning views! The only downside to our stay was to realize that days are only 24 hours long and that holidays can't last forever (sigh). I would definitely recommend this place and plan to come back soon!

Randa. October 2016

We loved our stay. The house is located in a small and beautiful village. The cottage had everything we needed for a long stay, including lots of fun board games, books, and dvds. The area surrounding the house was fenced-in and our children spent many hours wondering around the yard, picking apples, and playing. The neighborhood has a really nice coffee shop (The Coach House) which had amazing desserts.

Franziska. Oct 2016

Very nice furnished house with everything in you may need. Tomich is a little village but has a nice coffee shop and restaurant. Also shopping is close by. Also there are some very nice walking trails close to the village and well known Urquhart castle and Loch Ness are reachable within 30 minutes by car. I can definitely recommend the place.

Anne. Sep 2016

Fantastic base to explore the highlands. Comfortable, beautifully decorated cottage - perfect for a rural retreat.

Monika. Sep 2016

Wunderbar!!

Artour from London. August 2016

An extremely well appointed and equipped house, with dozens of thoughtful touches that made our vacation perfect: from firewood and midges spray to awesome thick towels and a whole library with maps and books about the area. It was a joy to come back home from a long day of sightseeing to a cozy, tastefully furnished sitting room and a fully equipped kitchen.

Mathew. August 2016

The location is perfect for exploring the highlands. We felt very welcome at the house. The descriptions were accurate, a welcome pack was left for us and a manual describing everything we needed was in the living room.

Tilman. August 2016

Vielen Dank, Tilman, Ina, Amon&Ada

Jean Pierre. July 2016

The house is really lovely. Tomich is a very beautiful village, in a so gorgeous country! The house is very clean, furnished with a great taste. It is spacious, and our children enjoyed the garden and the whole house. Every instructions were let for our comfort. A great location in Scotland! We hope to come back in a couple of years!

Emma July 2016

Absolutely loved staying here! The cottage has been done so nicely and Julia was very helpful. There were also lots of little touches that really made the stay brilliant, such as maps and board games to use, nice toiletries and a welcome basket! We will definitely come back!

Tessa June 2016

What a stunning house in a lovely village! We stayed in Tomich for 6 days and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The village is in a fantastic location with lots of beautiful scenery around it. Everyone in the village was friendly and welcoming and the hotel just down the road serves excellent food! The house was very clean and had all the essentials we needed. I would highly recommend staying in this house!
